About OBCref.com

This site is built for architects, contractors, building officials, designers, and students. It serves both the 2012 and 2024 editions of the OBC, which matters right now during the transition period where projects permitted before April 2025 may still fall under the 2012 edition.

The goal is simple: give professionals a fast, clean reference easily available at all times — on site, in the office, or anywhere. No account required to browse and search. However, with a free account you can mark favourites, save code under a project file, and post and respond in the forum.
